Explore a World Where Playing is Learning

We offer fun, hands-on outreach programs to the community and schools. While searching for a location we are currently operating as a “museum without walls”. The Museum exhibits will be for children up to 10 years and will draw visitors from Manatee and Sarasota counties. Programs for older kids and families will also be available. Our programs will include classes and workshops in arts, humanities and sciences. In addition, we will address subjects such as parenting, education, literacy and health. Scholarships will be available.

Our MISSION:
To provide fun, interactive learning experiences in a safe environment. Visitors play and learn through educational exhibits and programs which center on the arts, humanities and sciences.

Exhibits & programming meet the Florida’s Sunshine State Standards to reinforce what is being taught in classrooms. We will include special event facilities for activities from summer and school vacation camps, to birthday parties and baby showers to corporate meetings and charitable events.

Our VISION

A Bit About Our Vision...Featured learning center exhibits at Explore Some More Children’s Museum will incorporate art, music, water play as well as physical and imaginative play, while reflecting our region’s unique environment and community. Our facility will be a place for children to learn about real life by playing in kid-size versions of these exhibits such as:

Research proves that kids LEARN and through PLAY. It is a way for them to learn who they are, how the world works, solve problems and to express feelings. Children’s Museums celebrate play and creativity while positively impacting children, families and communities.
